At a glance
Plataran Menteng is a dining and events venue set inside a restored Dutch colonial house in Menteng. The architecture gives the restaurant a heritage-led character, while Indonesian design elements and landscaped gardens create a setting that feels connected to the country’s cultural traditions.
Traditional Indonesian cuisine is the main focus, with familiar culinary heritage presented in a polished dining style. The cooking is centred on authentic flavours, while the presentation brings a refined finish to the experience. The result is a formal yet welcoming setting for diners seeking Indonesian food in an architectural environment with a strong sense of place.
The venue extends across three floors, each combining Indonesian and colonial influences. Gardens and courtyards surround the house, adding greenery and open-air character to the property. These spaces complement the interiors and provide a calm backdrop for meals, gatherings and celebrations.
Plataran Menteng also operates as an occasion venue, with capacity for up to 300 guests. Its layout and atmosphere suit weddings, corporate functions and other special events that call for an Indonesian setting with a more formal presentation. Smaller dining visits can also make use of the venue’s restaurant offering, while larger groups can plan around its event facilities.
Located on Jl. HOS. Cokroaminoto, the venue brings traditional Indonesian dining, colonial architecture and garden surroundings together in one property. The combination makes it suitable for celebrations, business gatherings and meals where the setting matters as much as the cuisine. Plataran Menteng is open daily from late morning through evening and accepts advance reservations for dining and events.
