It also has a beautiful old altar that reflects sound like a conch shell. Visit Istiqlal Mosque as the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the sixth-largest mosque in the world regarding worshipper capacity. Located in the city center, almost opposite the National Cathedral, the Mosque is also meant to be a symbol of peace and religious tolerance. Note: Istiqlal mosque is closed every Friday.
