Description
Experience the quiet rhythm of Baduy Luar in a private journey designed for those who seek depth, not distraction. Over two days, you’ll explore forest trails, cross living root bridges, walk through rice fields, and arrive at a traditional Baduy home where simplicity becomes sanctuary. This is not a sightseeing tour. It’s a slow walk into a world where time stretches and silence speaks. You’ll be guided through several villages, welcomed by local families, and invited to stay the night in a shared, humble home. The next morning begins with a gentle walk before your return—no rush, no noise, just presence. Meals are prepared by your hosts using basic ingredients we bring along: rice, vegetables, tofu, tempeh, salted fish, coffee, tea, and sugar. Please note that meat is not permitted in the village, and custom dishes cannot be accommodated. Expect long walks on uneven terrain, with no electricity at night and no modern comforts. There are no restaurants, no soft beds, and no private bathrooms—only simple toilets and traditional bathing areas. What you’ll find instead is something far more rare: a human pace, a quiet landscape, and a chance to reconnect with nature, with others, and with yourself. To ensure this experience is prepared with care, we ask that you book at least one day in advance. We are unable to accept bookings made less than 24 hours before departure.Includes
