Description
Your escape starts in the morning. I will pick you up privately from your hotel in Bogor / Jakarta area with our comfortable, clean car. No rushing, no other guests, just you, good music, and fresh air as we leave the city behind and head into the lush foothills of Gunung Salak.
Stop 1: Morning Warm-up with a View
Before the trek, we stop at a local hillside warung with a stunning valley view. Enjoy a hot Bogor coffee or tea while overlooking the misty mountains. This is the perfect moment to breathe, take photos, and get briefed about the day. Pure good vibes to start.
Stop 2: The Jungle Trek - Entering the Green World
We then drive to the trailhead. A short, easy 15-30 minute walk through the forest brings you inside. You will hear the sound getting louder and louder—the forest is alive. Tall trees, cool air, the smell of wet earth, and sunlight peeking through the leaves. This is healing.
Stop 3: The Main Event - The Waterfall
And then, you see it. A beautiful, powerful waterfall hidden in Gunung Salak like Curug Ciampea, Curug Pangeran, Lembah Tepus. Crystal clear, cold, natural water falling into a turquoise pool. This is your time. Swim, soak your feet, meditate behind the falls, or just sit on a rock and let the spray hit your face. I will be your photographer and find you the best Instagram spots that only locals know.
Stop 4: Secret Viewpoint & Rice Terraces
After the waterfall, we go to my favorite hidden spot that tourists never find. A vast view of green rice terraces, winding river, and Mount Salak in the background. No crowds. Just wind, view, and peace. We can have a late lunch here with a view. I can arrange local Sundanese food, or we can stop at a scenic resto.
On the way back, we drive slowly through villages, palm trees, and local life. If you want, we can stop for fresh coconut or local snacks.
By 3-4 PM, I drop you back to your hotel, refreshed, recharged, and with a camera full of memories.
This is not a standard tour. This is a personal journey to see the real, natural side of Bogor, guided by a local who loves it.
