Description
Cross the Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge, a 535-meter-long bridge standing 120 meters above the forest floor, offering panoramic views of dense tropical trees. This bridge is recognized as the longest suspension bridge in Southeast Asia.
Choose between a short or long hiking track, both featuring natural attractions:
Short Track Hiking (1.5 km)
- Sawer Waterfall: A 35-meter-high waterfall surrounded by natural forest ambiance.
- Sultan Basket: A 100-meter-long rattan basket zipline crossing the river (expect potential long queues, especially on weekends and holidays).
- Situ Gunung Lake: A pine-tree-lined lake on Mount Gede Pangrango’s slopes where you can relax by the water or ride a traditional raft.
Long Track Hiking (5 km)
This guided expedition leads to the Ancient Valley and Twin Waterfall, traversing seven additional suspension bridges. Discover secluded waterfalls within lush vegetation while learning about the local ecosystem from expert guides.
The Twin Waterfall stands 75 meters high, providing an impressive natural experience. Note that the long track is not recommended for individuals with height phobia, asthma, or mobility impairments.
After resting at the expedition post, the hike continues to Sawer Waterfall, Sultan Basket, and Situ Gunung Lake as part of the full experience.
