Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Jakarta. Visit Merdeka Square, home to key government buildings and the National Monument, a 132-meter tall landmark topped with a gold-leaf flame symbolizing Indonesia’s independence. The monument’s basement features 48 dioramas illustrating Indonesia’s history from prehistoric times to today.
