Kevin Ketaren, founder of Kaloka, reinterprets traditional Indonesian textiles like batik and tenun for modern fashion. Growing up surrounded by these crafts, he collaborates with local artisans to preserve heritage through contemporary design.
This workshop offers insight into the stories and techniques behind Indonesia’s batik textile art. It welcomes students, travelers, and international guests who want to create a personalized souvenir and learn the craft firsthand.
