Description
Begin your tour with a meet and greet at Jakarta International Airport, followed by a hotel transfer and overnight stay to rest. On day two, travel by train to Yogyakarta and explore Borobudur temple with a local guide during the afternoon golden hour. Return to your hotel to relax.
On the third day, visit Prambanan Temple, Indonesia’s largest Hindu temple complex, featuring towering stone spires and detailed Ramayana reliefs. Journey overland through Java’s countryside to Cemoro Lawang village on Mount Bromo’s slopes for an overnight stay.
Day four starts early with a 4WD jeep to a viewpoint to watch the sunrise over Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru. Explore the Sea of Sand surrounding Mount Bromo and climb 250 steps to the crater rim for panoramic views. After breakfast, transfer to your hotel near Ijen.
On the final day, depart at midnight for a 3 km moderate hike through forest trails to Ijen Crater. Witness the unique blue flames caused by ignited sulfuric gases, visible only at night. After sunrise, view Kawah Ijen’s bright turquoise acidic lake and dramatic volcanic cliffs. The tour concludes with a transfer to Bali.
