Description
Begin your journey with pickup at Jakarta Airport and transfer to your accommodation to rest before the tour starts. On Day 2, explore Jakarta’s museums, traditional markets, and Chinatown before returning to your hotel.
Day 3 involves a scenic train ride to Yogyakarta, an important center for Javanese arts and culture, where you will settle into your accommodation. Day 4 starts early at Setumbu Hill to catch the sunrise over Borobudur, followed by a tour of the UNESCO-listed Borobudur Temple. You may return to relax or visit additional landmarks in Yogyakarta.
On Day 5, travel by car to Mount Bromo and enjoy free time upon arrival to prepare for the early sunrise tour the next day. Day 6 features a sunrise hike up Mount Bromo, Indonesia’s popular volcano, followed by breakfast and onward travel to Bondowoso for the Ijen Crater accommodation.
Day 7 begins with a midnight hike lasting 90 to 120 minutes to the Ijen Volcano summit. From the crater rim, view the surrounding landscape and, if conditions allow, witness the rare blue flames emitted from within the crater. After the hike, you will be dropped off at your accommodation in Bali, where the tour ends.
