After receiving the necessary attire, enter the mosque to observe its architecture and understand its cultural significance.

Next, visit the Our Lady of the Assumption Cathedral, located opposite the mosque. This is the longest Roman Catholic cathedral in Jakarta, with historical ties to King Louis Napoleon Bonaparte, brother of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

Then, drive through Jakarta’s Chinatown en route to Batavia Old Town, known for its markets and Chinese-Indonesian cuisine. Arrive at the Old Town Square and walk through the historic Dutch East India Company sites, established in 1620 as a major spice trading enterprise.

Visit the Jakarta History Museum, formerly the VOC governor general’s office, to explore the spice trade legacy. Also visit an Indonesian Puppet Studio to learn about Wayang, the traditional Javanese puppet art recognized by UNESCO.
