Experience the slow rhythm of Baduy Luar away from distractions. Over two days, explore forest trails and walk across living root bridges. Visit traditional Baduy homes where simplicity defines comfort.
This is not a conventional tour. You will be guided through several villages, welcomed by local families, and stay overnight in a shared, humble home. The following morning begins with a gentle walk before returning, emphasizing presence over speed.
Meals are prepared by your hosts using basic ingredients supplied: rice, vegetables, tofu, tempeh, salted fish, coffee, tea, and sugar. Meat is not allowed, and custom dietary requests cannot be accommodated.
The trek involves long walks on uneven terrain, no electricity at night, no restaurants, soft beds, or private bathrooms—only basic toilets and traditional bathing areas. This trip offers a rare chance to reconnect with nature and local culture.
Please book at least one day in advance. Bookings less than 24 hours before departure cannot be accepted.
